Limoneira Loves Lemonade Day and is Peelin’ Good!

Before any of us can make delicious and refreshing lemonade from scratch, we must start with an ample supply of fresh squeezed lemons. Thankfully, Limoneira is a leading citrus grower that has been operating since 1893 as well as a generous national sponsor that can keep all of us Lemonade Day fans well-stocked with millions and millions of plump juicy lemons! In fact, members of our national team in Houston keep bags of Limoneira lemons stored in their fridge and ready to use.
Limoneira has been a generous sponsor of Lemonade Day since 2019, and we are grateful that this philanthropic company is continuing to support our program going forward. Our original plans for working together this year and next have changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and we are excited to explain our approach! The Limoneira Peelin’ Good Tour - The Zest Is Yet to Come virtual coast-to-coast tour launched on Sept. 1. Along with Limoneira’s impressive list of Instagram influencers, the company will virtually stop into key cities and grocery store chain headquarters in the United States and Canada, sharing recipes and other fun ways to enjoy Limoneira lemons while also shining a spotlight on Lemonade Day.
John Chamberlain, vice president of marketing for Limoneira and a major Lemonade Day fan, offered these comments: “So much has changed this year with the pandemic. Still, getting folks healthy (and building their immunity) is important. Supporting kids and Lemonade Day is also something that can’t be put on the back burner. They are our future, and we want to do what we can to support them going forward. We love Lemonade Day!”
Limoneira is such an amazing supporter of everything Lemonade Day, and we will do our very best to reciprocate by supporting this company, their marketing team and their Instagram influencers by our words and actions! Lemonade Day leaders will join several of our young Lemonade Day business owners and super star alumni who are now teens by “popping up” and “popping into” the Peelin’ Good Tour over the coming weeks and months.
